Youth Programmes

Our focus is on FUN. We will practice daily agility, balance and coordination drills. Introduce fundamental techniques and focus on long-term learning over winning. Most importantly, our young athletes will learn respect for their coaches and teammates.

Under 8’s

We continue the lessons learned in our younger group, keeping training fun and building fundamental skills and athleticism. We start to introduce strategy and options for competition, learning the rules, as well as respect for opponents and officials.

Under 12’s

Alongside competition strategy and preparation, we also discuss goal setting, confidence, and self-discipline. We emphasize proper nutrition and mental preparation, as well as strength training, conditioning, and recovery.

Open to ages 13-19. Ages 10-12 must try out.

Teens and Youth Competitors

We believe it is important to hold a space for our female grapplers. Once a week we hold an hour long practice, with a 30min open roll, for the women in our community. All experience levels are welcome, but come prepared for a tough go of it!

Open to ages 12+ (under 12’s must bring a partner)
